Day 131 morning

  • The party started the day after a rest of the airship, The Sloar’s Embrace.
  • Planning their next move, they were visited by the evoker Teucron, who works for the gold dragon Aurajax.
    • Teucron found the party after their run-in at the weather lab, but hadn’t yet informed his master, who would immediately follow the necromancer Yorin’s request to destroy them to save his mate. Teucron approached the party hoping to find another solution that doesn’t benefit Yorin.
    • Teucron identified The Vault as a floating island above Daemineria which they use to store dangerous cursed items, from minor items to major ones like the Tartaric Phylactery, the Foldable Mountain, and the body of the slain Coven witch.
    • The Vault is protected from teleportation on to and off of the island itself. It’s only supposed to be accessible by flight.
    • Cursed items are kept in individual portable holes and there are testing rooms with various safety protections (i.e. spell absorption, Wall of Force).
    • A new request from Yorin came to Aurajax that morning to convince the Daeminerian council not to look for professor Mortico and to ressurect the executed flesh golem from the other day. This new request was strange, as the search for Mortico had gone on for a whole day without interest from Yorin.
  • A pact with Teucron and the party was made. The party would try to find the location of Aurajax’s mate while Teucron would use his contacts to keep forces near the Vault and to patrol the mountain areas where the party thought Yorin’s airship was moored for repairs.
